Abstract
monopoly is the goal of business competition it self, business actors are a means of controlling and expanding the market. However, if monopoly or market control is carried out by justifying any means to get the maximum profit even though it is detrimental to other parties as business competitors. As in the case that the writer wants to examine, namely the KPPU stipulates the existence of monopolistic practices carried out by PT. GRAB and PT.TPI (Indonesian transportation technology) Regarding the rental of special transportation. So, what is the legal consideration of the KPPU which decides that the merger between PT. GRAB and PT.TPI (Indonesian transportation technology) which rent out special transportation violate the prohibition of monopolistic practices and what kind of legal protection for PT. Another GRAB that also rents out special transportation for the legal action of the merger between PT. GRAB and PT.TPI (Indonesian transportation technology). The author uses a normative juridical research method using a statutory problem approach and uses literature study data collection.
