Abstract

Low Back Pain (LBP) is a musculoskeletal disorder that can be caused by poor body activity. At least 80% of the world population feels pain in the lower back at least once in their lives. The purpose of this study is to analyze the risk factors associated with Low Back Pain (LBP) from workers. This research uses the Literature Review method. The results of a systematic study showed that there were 21 studies in 2010 to 2020. The number of samples studied from each article ranged from 30-3100 people and all of them were primary data. The research design mostly uses cross sectional research design. Related risk factors seen from the research conducted consisted of age, sex, body mass index (BMI), length of work, work position, work period, repetition, workload, smoking, stress, physical activity and history of disease. The most statistically related independent variables were 12 studies out of 21 studies which showed work position as a significant factor in LBP. An odd or unfavorable work position can increase the energy needed to do the work so that it can cause fatigue and result in LBP.
