Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the financial health of PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk. using the RGEC (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital) approach for the period 2022–2025. The approach used in this study is quantitative descriptive, utilizing secondary data sourced from the company’s annual reports. The Risk Profile factor was assessed using the NPF and FDR ratios; the GCG factor was evaluated based on self-assessment results; the Earnings factor was analyzed using the ROA, ROE, BOPO, and NOM ratios; and the Capital factor was measured using the CAR ratio. The results indicate that Bank Muamalat Indonesia’s financial health consistently fell into Composite Rating 4 (Unhealthy) throughout the observation period, with a composite score of 57.50% in 2022 and 2023, subsequently declining to 55.00% in 2024 and 2025. The most prominent weakness lies in the Earnings aspect, as reflected by the high BOPO ratio and consistently low ROA, ROE, and NOM throughout the observation period. On the other hand, the Capital and liquidity (FDR) aspects are major strengths, marked by a CAR value that consistently remained well above the minimum regulatory threshold for four consecutive years. These findings confirm that Bank Muamalat Indonesia during the 2022–2025 period warrants further analysis.
