Abstract
This study is a quantitative research that aims to analyze the effect of board size, board effectiveness, the proportion of independent commissioners, and board educational background on banking financial sustainability, with liquidity and asset efficiency as control variables. The research was conducted on banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2023–2025 period. The research sample consisted of 96 banks per year selected using the purposive sampling method. The collected data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression method for panel data with the Common Effect Model (CEM) approach using Stata MP 14 software. Data analysis techniques to conduct this research utilized descriptive statistical tests, regression model selection tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests, and multiple linear regression tests. The results show that board size has a significant positive effect on banking financial sustainability. Conversely, board effectiveness, the proportion of independent commissioners, and board educational background are not proven to have a significant effect on banking financial sustainability.
