Abstract

The food and beverage ordering process at Kedai Warjo Ratna currently relies on conventional paper-based methods and lacks digital integration. This manual approach creates operational inefficiencies, such as slow service workflows during peak hours, a high risk of order-taking errors, and inaccuracies in daily data summaries and monthly financial reports. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a web-based food and beverage ordering system for Kedai Warjo Ratna. The system is designed to automate business processes, minimize potential errors, and accelerate transaction workflows. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology was employed for software development. Data collection involved direct field observation and interviews with the shop's management. System analysis and design focused on data architecture modeling (Use Case, Activity, Sequence, and Class Diagrams), interface design (wireframes), a MySQL database, and system functionality testing. The study resulted in a web-based ordering information system that effectively reduces ordering time and input errors while enabling the owner to monitor revenue in real-time. Consequently, service operations at Kedai Warjo Ratna have become more efficient and structured, laying the groundwork for future integration with inventory management and sales forecasting features.
