Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector, such as Warmindo 25, still implement manual ordering processes, resulting in customer queues, delays in food service, and inefficient operations. This study aims to design a web-based menu ordering application using QR Code for table identification and the Dynamic Estimated Time Arrival (ETA) algorithm to estimate waiting time based on kitchen capacity. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results show that the system successfully generates dynamic waiting time estimates of 10 minutes when the kitchen capacity is not exceeded and 20 minutes when the order queue reaches eight orders. In addition, the application simplifies the ordering process, assists administrators and kitchen staff in managing orders, and improves service efficiency at Warmindo 25.
