Abstract
This study was conducted to examine the effect of institusional ownership, firm performance, and firm size on executive compensation. This study uses the infrastructure, utilities and transportation companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange as a sample. The sampling in this study of 40 infrastructure, utilities and transportation companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2015 by purposive sampling method. Testing the hypothesis in this study using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with SPSS 21 and a significance level of 5 %. The results of the testing showed that: (1) Institusional Ownership has no significant effect on the executive compensation (2) Firm Performance has no significant effect on the executive compensation (3) Firm Size has a significant influence on the executive compensation. Limitations of this study secondary data obtained from the company's financial report shows that there are many companies that share ownership and do not have a continous profit.
