Abstract
Medical records are documents that must be completed accurately and comprehensively because they play a crucial role in clinical decision-making as well as administrative processes, including JKN–BPJS claim submissions. The increasing number of JKN participants, now covering approximately 95% of Indonesia’s population, has led to a higher volume of BPJS patients, thereby increasing physicians’ administrative burden and potentially affecting the quality of care.Objective: This study aims to analyze physicians’ workload related to the completion of BPJS patient medical records at Khidmat Sehat Afiat Regional General Hospital (RSUD KiSA), Depok City. Method: This research employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design and analytical statistical survey. Results: The findings show that physicians predominantly fall into the moderate workload category, with most respondents being in productive age groups, working as general practitioners, and managing 15–30 patients per day. Simple linear regression analysis indicated that medical record completion significantly influences physicians’ workload (p = 0.000; B = 1.296). An R² value of 0.472 signifies that medical record completion explains 47.2% of the variation in physicians’ workload. Conclusion: There is a significant influence of BPJS medical record completion on the increased workload experienced by physicians at RSUD KiSA Depok.
