Abstract
Primiparous women are those experiencing their first pregnancy, and they commonly face excessive anxiety due to major life changes. Primiparous mothers also frequently report negative childbirth experiences. These experiences are often related to fear of labor, which can become a contributing factor that increases the pain scale during contractions. One of the interventions that can be provided to reduce pain in primiparous mothers is partner delivered massage therapy. Objective: To analyze nursing care using partner-delivered massage interventions for primiparous mothers. Methods: The method used in this study is a case study based on evidence-based nursing in the nursing care of two primiparous patients. The instrument used in this study was the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Results: The findings from the two primiparous patients showed a decrease in pain levels after receiving partner delivered massage intervention, from a pain scale of 4.7 to 3.4 (latent phase in patient I), and from 6.2 to 5.8 (active phase in patient I). In patient II, the pain scale decreased from 5.3 to 4.9 (latent phase), and from 7.3 to 6.6 (active phase).
