Abstract

Adolescentsare the nation's future generation who are vulnerable to making immature decisions, one of which is early marriage, which has an impact onreproductive health, education, and the future of adolescents. This activity aimsto increase adolescents' knowledge and attitudes in preventing early marriagethrough a combination of psychoeducation and simulation games based on Value ClarificationTechnique (VCT). Two adolescents in Kabasiran Village participatedin this activity, which was conducted over four weeks with tenmeetings. Each meeting included interactive lectures, discussions, educationalvideo screenings, and simulation games to help adolescents understand the values andconsequences of each decision related to early marriage. The results of the implementation showed an increase in knowledge and positive attitudes towardsthe prevention of early marriage, with An. S's pretest score increasing from 13to 27 and An. A's from 11 to 26. Both adolescents showed a change inattitude from negative to positive and were better able to think criticallyand responsibly when making decisions. The results of this activity showthat the combination of psychoeducation and VCT-based simulation games is effective inincreasing adolescents' awareness and understanding of the importance of delayingmarriage until they are emotionally, socially, and economically ready.
