Abstract
This study is motivated by the manual stock management at Toko Langgeng Sembako without proper recording, which makes it difficult for the store owner to monitor product availability, causes delays in restocking, and results in inaccurate data. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory information system to support more effective stock recording and monitoring. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. Data were collected through observation and interviews with the store owner to obtain system requirements based on real conditions. The system was developed using web technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and MySQL and modeled using Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results show that the developed web-based inventory information system is able to manage product data, record incoming and outgoing goods, display low-stock notifications, and generate inventory reports. Based on black box testing, all system functions operate as expected, indicating that the application can improve record accuracy and efficiency in inventory management at Toko Langgeng Sembako.
