Abstract
Introduction: Ideal productivity occurs when the workforce is enthusiastic about implementing production efficiency and has the ability to improve the welfare of the people. Increased work efficiency is highly influenced by the level of education and health conditions. Individuals with good health can better utilize the education they receive, thereby improving productivity. Methods: This study uses an analytical observational method with a cross-sectional design. The study involves 49 educational staff members at the Faculty of Medicine, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta in 2025. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with respondents. Bivariate Chi-square tests and multivariate analysis with logistic regression will be used to analyze the data. Results: The majority of respondents were categorized as obese in terms of nutritional status and were predominantly low in productivity, while all respondents with normal nutritional status showed high productivity (p = 0.013). Regarding the dietary pattern variable, nearly all respondents with a balanced diet had high productivity (p = 0.017). In multivariate analysis, only nutritional status had a significant effect on work productivity (p = 0.028; Exp(B) = 2.093), while dietary pattern showed no significant effect (p = 0.312). These two variables contribute 27.6% to the factors affecting work productivity, according to a Nagelkerke R Square value of 0.276. Conclusion: This study shows that work productivity among educational staff at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta is related to nutritional status and dietary patterns.
