Abstract

As one of the world’s leading coffee producers supported by diverse and fertile agroecological landscapes, Indonesia holds strong potential to enhance its export performance through alignment with global sustainability standards, including the European Union’s Farm to Fork (F2F) Strategy. This study analyzes the determinants of this readiness using the MICMAC method based on data from 52 respondents. The results identify Organic Fertilizer Use, Coffee Price, Access to Capital, and Land Area as the primary independent drivers. Conversely, Farmer Education, Pest Control, and Farmer Income emerge as dependent outcomes. These findings align with the Heckscher-Ohlin theory, indicating a shift in comparative advantage from land abundance to capital intensity and technological inputs. Consequently, the study concludes that improving farmer welfare and capacity acts as a downstream outcome, contingent upon structural enhancements in capital access, pricing stability, and eco-friendly input technologies.
