Abstract
The Sustainability Principle is a global achievement initiative by 2030 and encourages industry to participate, including Event Organizers. One of the pillars in the Sustainability principle is the environmental pillar, which seeks to emphasize ecosystem protection and the reduction of waste and pollution. Company X still produces and has not properly managed large and fast-moving waste, one of which is Kruing Wood. The use of non-durable materials makes them carry out operational activities that must be carried out repeatedly every year. In addition, the increase in total costs per year due to increasing element costs. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of implementing the Sustainability principle on cost efficiency and operational efficiency. This research is descriptive quantitative. By comparing the results of the Activity Based Costing calculation in 2025, there is a difference in the estimated costs in the use of Kruing Wood raw materials with Octanorm R8 as a replacement material, an increase in cost efficiency of 78.93% in event 1 and 74.92% in event 2. The increase in operational efficiency occurs in the reduction of one of the activities, namely the manufacture of wooden booths which involves 12 people for 10 days, resulting in operational efficiency of 15 days in event 1 and 5 days in event 2.
