Abstract

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a reproductive disorder that is the main cause of infertility in women. Management of infertility in women with PCOS is carried out using ovulation induction drug therapy to achieve pregnancy. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between patient characteristics including age, body mass index and menstrual patterns with pregnancy success in PCOS patients who received ovulation induction drug therapy regimens at Harapan Kita Children's and Mothers' Hospital. This study used an observational research design with retrospective data collection through medical records of PCOS patients who received ovulation induction drugs for pregnancy. The total sample in this study was 58 patients with a total sampling method data collection technique. Data analysis was carried out using the Chi-Square Test to explain the relationship between patient characteristics and pregnancy occurrence in PCOS patients. The results showed a significant relationship (p<0.05) between patient characteristics and pregnancy incidence in PCOS women.
