Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach that aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, leverage, and profitability on financial distress in textile and garment companies. The independent variables used are liquidity (current ratio), leverage (DAR), and profitability (ROA) with the dependent variable being financial distress measured using the Modified Altman Z-Score method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with a sample size of 19 textile and garment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2024. The data analysis technique used was logistic regression analysis with the help of Eviews 13 software. The results showed that liquidity and leverage had a significant effect on financial distress, while profitability did not show a significant effect on financial distress.
