Abstract

Halal micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in Indonesia’s local economic development by contributing to market expansion, job creation, and community welfare. In Beji District, Depok City, the halal culinary sector continues to grow in line with rising consumer awareness of halal products, the increasing use of digital payments, and digital marketing. However, challenges still arise from the unequal implementation of halal certification, the suboptimal use of e-payment systems, and varying levels of digital marketing capability among business actors. This study aims to analyze the influence of halal certification, e-payment, and digital marketing on the performance of halal culinary MSMEs using a quantitative approach with SEM-PLS and a purposive sampling technique involving respondents with spesific criteria. The findings show that all three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on MSME performance. Halal certification enhances consumer trust and perceived product quality. e-payment improves transaction convenience and contributes to better customer experiences. Digital marketing increases business visibility and market reach through the effective use of social media and online platforms. These results indicate that the integration of sharia-compliant practices and digitalization serves as a strategic driver in strengthening the competitiveness of halal culinary MSMEs in Beji District, Depok City.
