Abstract
This research discusses the form of cooperation between Indonesia and South Korea in the field of EV technology during the period 2021 to 2023. EV vehicles are a form and effort of countries in the world to create a minimal emission environment to improve air quality in the world. Hyundai is one of the companies involved in this collaboration and is the subject of this research. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and critical discourse analysis based on EV theory and bilateral cooperation, to analyze the forms of cooperation that have been carried out and will be carried out with the aim of improving the quality and quantity of EV technology in Indonesia. The results show that this cooperation has its own challenges and results that can be seen in the future, which can be seen in the economic field and also in technology development. This research contributes to the study of international relations, especially regarding how non-state actors such as multinational companies shape and improve the quality of EV technology and also increase the economic strength of a country.
