Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of corn production, international corn prices, exchange rates, and domestic consumption of corn on the volume of corn imports in Indonesia in the period 1977 to 2022. The data used was in the form of secondary data for the annual period as many as 46 observation data obtained through FAOSTAT, the Agricultural Center, the World Bank, and the Mundi Index. The analysis method used is using the Error Correction Model (ECM) which aims to analyze in the long and short term. The results of the study show that in the long term corn production, exchange rate, and domestic consumption of corn do not have a significant effect on the volume of corn imports in Indonesia, and only the international price of corn has a significant effect on the volume of corn imports in Indonesia. On the other hand, in the short term, it shows that international corn prices, exchange rates, and domestic consumption of corn do not have a significant effect on the volume of corn imports in Indonesia, while corn production has a significant effect on the volume of corn imports in Indonesia.
