Abstract

This study aims to analyze public comments on content published by the Pandawara Group on the X social media account (@Pandawara01), particularly related to environmental issues. The method used is qualitative content analysis based on Klaus Krippendorff's approach, supported by Stuart Hall's Reception Theory. The focus of the study is on community comments found in four short video contents uploaded by Pandawara Group between May 2023 and July 2024. The results show that the majority of the comments reflect a dominant-hegemonic reading position, indicating that the audience fully accepts and agrees with the environmental messages conveyed by Pandawara Group. Supportive, motivational, and collaborative comments demonstrate that Pandawara’s content has successfully raised public environmental awareness and influenced people's perceptions of the importance of real action in keeping the environment clean. This research is expected to contribute to the study of digital media, environmental communication, and community-based social activism.
