Abstract
Based on Indonesian Health Survey data in 2023, nutritional problems among adolescents aged 16–18 years remain a national issue, with a prevalence of 1,7% severely underweight, 6,6% underweight, 8,8% overweight, and 3,3% obese. One of the determinants of adolescent nutritional status is dietary patterns, which can be assessed through the quality of diet from various aspects. Additionally, adolescents tend to spend time with peers or on social media, which can influence their dietary patterns and impact nutritional status. The objective of this study is to examine how dietary quality, peer factors, and social media exposure relate to the nutritional status of adolescents at SMA Negeri 2 Bogor. Using a cross-sectional analytical observational approach, the study involved 103 students aged 16 to 18 years. The data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test, revealing a significant relationship between diet quality and nutritional status (p = 0,000). Meanwhile, peer influence and social media exposure did not show a significant correlation with nutritional status (p = 0,210 and p = 0,206).
