Abstract

This research examines PT. Tradeasia's communication strategies for managing communication barriers within its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, the Tradeasia Academy, aiming to create corporate added value. Using a descriptive qualitative and case study approach, this study identifies technical, semantic, and effectiveness barriers based on the Shannon & Weaver model. A SWOT analysis positions the program in the Strength-Opportunity (SO) quadrant, justifying a growth-oriented strategy. This strategy is implemented by leveraging internal strengths (global scale, expert practitioners) and external opportunities (online training trends, talent recruitment) to adaptively address these barriers. The findings indicate that this structured communication strategy successfully minimizes barriers while effectively enhancing the company's reputation, expanding market reach, and transforming the CSR initiative into a strategic instrument for value creation.
