Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that remains a major public health issue in Indonesia. The government has set a target to eliminate TB by 2030 by collaborating with various stakeholders to accelerate the eradication of this disease. To achieve this goal, Bakrie Center Foundation (BCF) implements the Hexahelix Stakeholder system, involving six key sectors: the government, community organizations, private sector, academia, media, and affected communities. This study aims to analyze the role of each stakeholder and promote the broader implementation of the Hexahelix Stakeholder model in accelerating TB elimination efforts conducted by BCF. This research employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the Hexahelix Stakeholder model applied by BCF effectively optimizes the role of each stakeholder across various sectors in accelerating TB elimination. Each stakeholder fulfills its responsibilities synergistically, with the government formulating policies, academia contributing through research, human resource development, and community service, the private sector supporting funding and technological innovation, the media disseminating information, and social organizations along with affected communities playing a role in case detection, advocacy, and education. This cross-sector collaboration has proven to be an effective approach in realizing the 2030 TB elimination target.
