Abstract
Background: Cerebral Palsy Spastic Quadriplegia is a clinical form characterized by increased muscle tone and stiffness in all four limbs, especially the arms. This condition causes children to experience disorders in their motor skills and development. Purpose: This study aims to determine how physiotherapy is managed in patients with Cerebral Palsy Spastic Quadriplegia. Method: This writing uses a case study method on Cerebral Palsy Spastic Quadriplegia patients with complaints of not being able to lift their heads. The examinations carried out were sensory abilities, Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS), Gross Motor Functional Measurement (GMFM), Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS). Physiotherapy interventions were given for three meetings including Neurodevelopmental Treatment, Myofascial Release and Massage. Results: The results obtained after carrying out three interventions were an increase in tactile sensory and a decrease in spasticity values. Conclusion: Physiotherapy interventions given to children with Cerebral Palsy Spastic Quadriplegia provide benefits to tactile sensory and spasticity.
