Abstract
Traffic congestion is a problem that often occurs in big cities, especially Jakarta, which results in disrupted community mobility. One of the efforts to reduce these problems is to switch to using public transportation. Cecilia Novanca is one of the influencers who consistently creates content related to the use of public transportation and uploads it on TikTok social media. This study aims to analyze the content of persuasive messages in TikTok @cecilianov social media content uploaded in the period 1 to 30 September 2024 using the concept of persuasive communication. The indicators used in this study are indicators of the dimensions of persuasive messages, namely rational appeals and emotional appeals. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach content analysis method with a video analysis unit consisting of 22 texts, 3 images, 87 audios, and 91 scenes. The data that has been obtained is analyzed descriptively, then presented in the form of frequency and percentage tables. Furthermore, the intercoder agreement value was calculated using Holsti Formula and the reliability value was calculated using Scott Formula. The results of the analysis show that @cecilianov's TikTok content contains persuasive messages, namely in text uploads at 100%, images at 100%, audio at 98.85%, and scenes at 97.80%. The reliability test shows that the unit of analysis with the highest level of reliability is the text unit. Based on these results, the conclusion in this study is that the content uploaded on @cecilianov's TikTok account represents persuasive messages related to the invitation to use public transportation.
