Abstract
This study aims to examine the political participation of young people in the 2024 General Election. The underlying problem of this study is that young people are objectified through money politics or identity politics. Furthermore, the dominance of elite power makes it increasingly difficult to achieve participation in political space and education for young people. Bijak Memilih movement, initiated by Think Policy and Whats Is Up Indonesia, is a response to this. This study uses a qualitative approach with the concept of Digital Activism by Sandor Vegh. The results of this study show that Bijak Memilih is present to connect supply (government) and demand (society) through the momentum of the 2024 General Election. With a long-term target of mobilizing 3.5% of the total population to make changes, Bijak Memilih aims to raise awareness among young people to choose issue-based candidates. Therefore, although the public is already aware of the social movements being carried out, a more strategic role for the government is still needed in providing political education to raise awareness of young people's political participation
