Abstract
SMAN 47 Jakarta is one of the senior high schools located in South Jakarta. In addition to its’ contribution in the academic field, the school also supports various student organizations aimed at facilitating students’ interests and talents, articularly through extracurricular activities. To ensure the smooth operation of these student organizations, a management system is needed to accommodate activities such as registration, assessment, evaluation, and the borrowing of school facilities. One commonly used facility is the classroom, which can be borrowed after school hours. Currently, the borrowing process is still conducted manually by submitting a written request to the administration office. This process is time-consuming and does not provide real-time information on room availability or scheduling. To address this issue, the author designed a web-based extracurricular management system to assist students in the room borrowing process as well as the management of extracurricular activities. The PIECES method (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, Service) is used to analyze the problem. The website is developed using the Laravel framework, and the development process follows the prototyping method. This application has 8 scenarios based on the use cases and said scenarios has a 100% success rate when tested with the Black Box Testing Method.
