Abstract

The Matching Fund–Kedaireka program is a strategic initiative by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) to promote collaboration between universities and industries, in line with the 2025–2045 RPJPN goals to enhance human resource competitiveness. However, the Kedaireka platform—as a hub for collaborative engagement—still faces usability issues, particularly in the login interface for academic users (Insan Perguruan Tinggi). This study applies the System Usability Scale (SUS) and Heuristic Evaluation (HE) methods, along with a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach in the redesign process. The initial SUS score was 62.68 (Grade D), with most HE findings showing high severity levels. The redesign was carried out iteratively using Figma and implemented with React across four main menus. After improvements, the SUS score rose to 80.75 (Grade A−), and HE findings decreased to Minor severity levels. These results indicate a significant improvement in the website’s usability and user experience.
