Abstract

The advancement of information technology has increased the need for an effective system in managing and disseminating information related to student organizations. This study aims to design and develop an Android-based information management application that delivers personalized and relevant organizational content to students, particularly within the Faculty of Computer Science at UPN Veteran Jakarta. The development process follows the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, with requirements analysis based on the PIECES framework. The application implements a Content-Based Filtering algorithm using the TF-IDF and Cosine Similarity approach to enhance the relevance of displayed information based on user preferences. Evaluation results indicate a successful implementation, with a User Acceptance Test (UAT) score of 83.2% and Usability Testing showing an average user satisfaction rate of 83%. The application effectively provides fast, relevant, and easily accessible organizational information, meeting students’ needs for structured campus information management.
