Abstract

Background: Femoral neck fracture is one type of fracture that often occurs, especially in the elderly. Femoral neck fractures are caused by direct trauma or degenerative conditions such as osteoporosis. Treatment of femoral neck fractures often requires surgery, but acute postoperative pain is one of the main problems that hinders the patient's recovery process. Objective: To describe nursing care for postoperative patients with right femoral neck fractures with priority of acute pain problems at RSPPN Panglima Besar Soedirman starting from the assessment process, nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing implementation and nursing evaluation. Research Method: The research method used is a case study with a descriptive approach. Research Results: The nursing problems that arise in this case are acute pain related to physical injury agents (surgical procedures), impaired physical mobility related to pain and disturbed sleep patterns related to lack of sleep control. Conclusion: The results of the assessment of Mrs. D found that the problems were resolved in all three diagnoses, namely acute pain related to physical injury agents (surgical procedures), impaired physical mobility related to pain and disturbed sleep patterns related to lack of sleep control.
