Abstract
Technological advancements and digitalization have brought changes to various aspects of human life. Phenomena such as the emergence of electric vehicles and digital technologies are evidence of current technological progress. In Indonesia, the sales figures for electric vehicles remain relatively low, with the automotive industry still dominated by fuel-powered vehicles, accounting for 98% of the market. Fitra Eri, a prominent YouTuber, provides various automotive-related content, including information on electric vehicles. This research aims to uncover the influence of Fitra Eri on his YouTube channel subscribers' interest in purchasing electric vehicles. The study adopts a quantitative research design with an associative approach. The population of this study consists of all subscribers of Fitra Eri's automotive YouTube channel, which, as of February 22, amounts to 2.88 million. The sample size for this study is 100 respondents, determined using the Slovin formula. The results of the study indicate that Fitra Eri's content significantly influences the interest in purchasing electric vehicles in Indonesia. Regression analysis shows an R Square value of 0.184 and an Adjusted R Square value of 0.176, indicating that 18.4% of the variation in interest in purchasing electric vehicles can be explained by Fitra Eri's content.
