Abstract
Elderly individuals are those who have reached the age of 60 and above. The risk of falling refers to a condition where a person has a high likelihood of falling, which can result in injury. This study aims to determine the risk of falling among the elderly at the Posyandu Lansia Komplek Marinir Depok. This study is observational in nature with a cross-sectional approach, involving a population of 120 people and 107 respondents. The instrument used in this study is the Timed Up and Go Dual Task, which is designed to measure the risk of falling among the elderly. The results of the study show that the majority of respondents have good mobility, with 75.7% on the TUG test, 81.3% on the TUG cognitive test, and 80.4% on the TUG manual test. Respondents in the elderly age category (79.7%) predominantly showed good mobility on the TUG test, with a similar pattern on the TUG cognitive test (83.1%), and the TUG manual test (78%). Female respondents dominated with 59.8% showing good mobility on the TUG test, 82.3% on the TUG cognitive test, and 81% on the TUG manual test. Normal BMI is the most common category (55.1%), with 71.2% showing good mobility on the TUG test, 81.4% on the TUG cognitive test, and 78% on the TUG manual test. The conclusion of this study is that most of the elderly at the Posyandu Lansia Komplek Marinir Depok have good mobility, which indicates a moderate risk of falling.
