Abstract

The dissemination process of student activity information, particularly competition-related events, at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta, has encountered challenges, such as inefficiency and uneven distribution of information shared through group chats and social media platforms. This study aims to design and implement a web-based information system utilizing the Laravel framework to optimize the effectiveness of information dissemination and competition registration processes. The Agile Scrum methodology, which facilitates flexible and collaborative development through sprint cycles, was employed in this study. The system incorporates key features such as competition management, online registration, and web-based information dissemination, ensuring that students receive timely and well-organized information. Testing results indicate that the system enhances information delivery efficiency and provides a superior user experience compared to traditional methods. Consequently, this system is anticipated to be a valuable solution for supporting student activities at the Faculty of Computer Science.
