Abstract

Student activities, particularly in the Faculty of Computer Science at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta, encompass various programs including research and community service that require effective data management. However, the management of these activities is still conducted manually, leading to difficulties in recording, reporting, and monitoring. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web-based student activity information system using the Laravel framework. The methodology used in this study includes stages of requirements analysis, system design, application development, and testing. The Laravel framework was chosen due to its advantages in developing secure, fast, and structured web-based applications. The results of the system development show that this system facilitates lecturers in finding students to participate in their research or community service activities, and makes it easier for students to find information related to lecturers' research or community service. Additionally, this system improves transparency and data accuracy regarding lecturers' research and community service. With this information system, it is expected that the management of student activities in the Faculty of Computer Science at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta will become more structured and effective, and can serve as a model for managing similar activities in other faculties.
