Abstract

The phenomenon of quarter life crisis often occurs at the age of 18-29 years, especially in final year students who face pressure in completing their education, planning their careers, and meeting family and social expectations. This condition causes anxiety and confusion about the future. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and self efficacy with Quarter Life Crisis in final year students at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method of analytical survey with the approach cross sectional. The number of samples used was 384 respondents obtained through the Stratified random sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), General Self Efficacy Scale (GSES), and Quarter Life Crisis Scale based on aspects Quarter Life Crisis. The results of the study found that there was a relationship between social support and Quarter Life Crisis to final year students at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta with p-value 0.001 (p<0.05), and there is a relationship between self efficacy with Quarter Life Crisis to final year students at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta with p-value 0.001 (p<0.05). Researchers advise final year students to build a positive social network, join a supportive community, and improve self-efficacy by developing new skills that can increase confidence such as stress management skills.
