Abstract

MSMEs play a significant role in Indonesia's economic growth. In Banten Province, MSMEs have become one of the industries driving economic growth, especially amid global economic challenges. However, despite the significant number of MSMEs in Banten, many business actors still face challenges in increasing their revenue. This study aims to analyze the influence of halal literacy, product quality, consumer loyalty, and halal certification on the revenue growth of MSMEs in the Banten region. Using a quantitative approach and Smart-PLS, the population of this study consists of all culinary MSME operators in the Banten region. Sampling was conducted using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. This study involved 110 respondents who met the criteria: MSMEs located in the Banten region, MSMEs operating in the culinary sector, and MSMEs that have been operating for at least one year. The hypothesis testing results found that halal literacy, product quality, consumer loyalty, and halal certification significantly influence and ultimately contribute to the revenue growth of MSMEs. The findings of this study highlight the importance of understanding and applying halal concepts in business activities, consistent improvement in product quality, and ownership of halal certification to strengthen consumer trust. Strategic recommendations are provided for MSME operators, the government, and related institutions to enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs sustainably.
