Abstract
Indonesia’s skyrocketing demand for beauty products, particularly skincare, has grown significantly as indigenous products have gained a stronger foothold. The rapid expansion of the local beauty industry accompanied with major environmental issues, particularly an increase in the amount of waste produced. The local product Avoskin is a pioneer in addresing environmental issues by delivering a variety of halal labeled and recyclable items, as well as promoting other environmental initiatives. This study intends to analyze determinants of purchasing decisions for Avoskin skin care products through a variety of reviews, including halal awareness, green marketing, and sustainable beauty. The research method utilizes a quantitative descriptive approach. The population analyzed is Muslim woman in Jakarta who fit the stated sample criteria. SmartPLS with inner and outer model test tools are utilized to analyze primary data. The outcomes of the research show that halal awareness, green marketing, and sustainable beauty each have a partial impact on purchase decisions, with halal awareness and sustainable beauty having the greatest significance value. This indicates that consumers are increasingly considering halal and sustainability aspects of their purchasing decisions. The implication of this research is that both business actors and consumers of beauty products, in addition to paying attention to aesthetics, must also support sustainability programs and pay attention to the halalness of their products.
