Abstract
Tourist satisfaction is a crucial factor in the tourism industry, especially for Muslim travelers who prioritize comfort and adherence to Sharia principles during their journeys. Although the halal tourism market continues to grow, challenges remain in providing services that meet Sharia standards and implementing digitalization to enhance information accessibility. This quantitative study aims to analyze the influence of digitalization and service quality on Muslim tourist satisfaction in halal tourism, with experience serving as a mediating variable. The study involved a sample of 170 respondents, and data analysis was conducted using T-tests and mediation tests with the SmartPLS application. The findings reveal that digitalization does not significantly affect Muslim tourist satisfaction due to the suboptimal utilization of available features. However, service quality significantly enhances satisfaction through responsive, empathetic, and Sharia-compliant services. Additionally, digitalization and service quality positively influence the tourist experience, which mediates their relationship with satisfaction. A positive experience, facilitated by technology and excellent service, is key to improving Muslim tourist satisfaction. Keywords: digitalization, experience, halal tourism, service quality.
