Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of stacking yard utility (YOR) and dwelling time on the loading and unloading productivity (throughput) at PT Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT). The research employs a quantitative approach using monthly time-series data from January 2022 to September 2024, analyzed through multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that YOR has a positive and significant effect on throughput, where every 1% increase in YOR significantly boosts throughput. Conversely, dwelling time has a negative and significant impact, with each additional day of dwelling time leading to a significant decrease in throughput. These results emphasize the importance of optimizing yard capacity utilization and minimizing dwelling time to enhance terminal productivity. This study provides practical implications for PT JICT to focus on improving yard capacity management and accelerating the flow of logistics to enhance efficiency and competitiveness. However, the research is limited to a single terminal, making the results less generalizable. Future studies are recommended to include additional variables such as equipment performance or the implementation of digital technologies to provide a more comprehensive perspective.
