Abstract

Objective Compare and analyze the blood pressure of hyperbaric patients before and during hyperbaric oxygen therapy in hypertension patients at clinic hyperbaric and subaquatic MERCe UPN Veteran Jakarta in 2022-2023. Method A descriptive research method with cross sectional design. The population includes all hypertension patients with hyperbaric oxygen therapy at clinic hyperbaric and subaquatic MERCe UPN Veteran Jakarta during the 2022-2023 periode, selected through total sampling that meets inclusion and exclusion criteria. Result The study involved 63 hypertension patients with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, mostly The results of blood pressure examinations ≥120/80 before therapy (73.0%, n=46), while during therapy T1 (38.1%, n=24) and T2 (34.9%, n=22). Grade I before therapy (14.3%, n=9), while Grade I during therapy T1 (6.4%, n=4) and T2 (4.8%, n 3). The results of MAP before and after hyperbaric oxygen therapy were the most decreased (63,5%). Conclusion This study is that there is a change in blood pressure results, hypertension degrees and MAP before and during hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Keywords: Blood Pressure; HBOT; Hypertension
