Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between the political marketing strategies implemented by Bramantyo Suwondo when running for membership in the DPR RI from the electoral district of Central Java VI in the 2019 Simultaneous General Election. With the implementation of the multiparty system after the reform era, political parties have mushroomed in Indonesia so that resulting in intense competition. This does not only apply at the national level, political parties need to create strategies at the regional level as well to win power, one of which is Bramantyo Suwondo who succeeded in winning the 2019 legislative election. Data collection techniques include interviews and literature studies in the form of books, news and previous research journals. The suitability of the strategy carried out by Bramantyo Suwondo Political Marketing Theory Niffeneger in the 2019 presidential election. The research results show that judging from the political marketing theory, Bramantyo Suwondo offers work programs that are pro-poor people and focus on educational development. Past records show that the electability of the Democratic Party depends on the strength of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Bramantyo Suwondo utilized offline and online media for his campaign. Bramantyo uses economic and psychological prices to influence people's decisions. Segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies are important in winning to plan a successful campaign. With a good understanding of voters, he can influence voters' preferences and behavior and achieve his political goals.
