Abstract
There are more reports about Prabowo-Gibran on Detik.com compared to other candidate pairs, detik.com is less proportional in reporting on the three presidential candidates. There is also more news about the Prabowo-Gibran couple than in the media Sindonews, Liputan6.com and CNNIndonesia. This research aims to discuss Detik.com's media and political relations in framing news related to Prabowo- Gibran in the 2024 presidential election. This research uses Thomas Mayer's media and political relations theory, Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosocki's framing theory, mass media concepts and General elections. The method used is descriptive qualitative using primary and secondary data sources. The sampling technique was carried out by conducting interviews, documentation and literature study. In this research, the author uses four framing data analysis structures according to Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki.. The final results of this research show that the content in the framing of Prabowo-Gibran news on Detik.com can help the political agenda, foster public enthusiasm, and construct positive news to achieve Prabowo-Gibran's ideal political goals in the 2024 presidential election. Detik.com tries to deny having a relationship with the couple candidates Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka. However, in reality, the media owner, namely Chairul Tanjung, has a close relationship between the media owner and Prabowo- Gibran which can influence the news creation process which can influence journalists in packaging political news regarding the framing of Prabowo-Gibran's reporting in the 2024 presidential election. Researchers conclude that there is a relationship between media owners with Prabowo-Gibran can influence the content of the news to be more positive.
