Abstract

The background of this research is the increasingly popular phenomenon of live shopping, which also encourages consumers to shop directly and interactively online. This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of Shopee's live shopping media exposure on the information needs of Dear Me Beauty's followers. The research method used is quantitative, with a determination coefficient test showing that variable X (social media exposure) has a 64.6% influence on variable Y (information needs), while the remaining 35.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that the t-value is 13.376 > 1.987, thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is a large influence of exposure to Shopee live shopping media on the information needs of Dear Me Beauty followers.
