Abstract

Electricity is a very important source of energy in everyday life. According to the PLN Statistical Report 2022, the largest electricity consumption comes from the household sector. This poses a challenge to manage electricity consumption to be more efficient and avoid uncontrolled usage. To assist homeowners in managing daily electricity usage, a household electricity consumption monitoring and control system was designed. This system uses PZEM-004T sensor module to calculate electricity consumption, and Wemos D1 Mini as a microcontroller that can also connect the system to the Internet. In addition, the system is also equipped with a relay to control electrical appliances through the socket. The implementation of fuzzy logic is also used to provide information from the level of electricity consumption and provide notifications if the results are high. The test results show that the system is able to function as intended with sufficient accuracy, which is around 99.94%. With this development, it is expected to help users in managing electricity usage more efficiently.
