Abstract
The fashion industry is one of the causes of environmental damage in Indonesia. Based on environmental concerns, the fashion industry adjusts their fashion products towards environmentally friendly. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of green marketing Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC) through sustainable fashion when viewed from the perspective of eco-capitalism. This research aims to identify the main strategies and initiatives undertaken by IFC to promote sustainable fashion practices and products with fashion industry stakeholders. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the research show that IFC as a forum for business actors becomes a 'one-stop' channel for its members. Because when talking about international markets, the actors that are often raised in IR discussions are multinational companies, states and transnational capitalists. However, IFC can in fact utilize borderless in expanding its international market through a container (association). Regarding the implementation of green marketing by IFC, in general it is an effort to expand the sustainable fashion market both in the Indonesian market and at the international level such as Paris and Gold Coast. While these advancements are potentially important for mitigating climate change through the promotion of sustainable fashion, they also reinforce the capitalist model by emphasizing market-based solutions over systemic change.
