Abstract

PT. Navil Natural collaborates with coconut sugar farmers to increase sugar production and quality. With increasing competition in the sugar export industry, the export strategy implemented is a key factor in improving the performance and contribution of sugar farmers to the economy. In this research, how changes in the export scenario can influence the strategies taken by PT Navil Natural will be analyzed, to understand the extent of the impact on sugar farmers in the Purbalingga area. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type with a case study approach. The research results show that PT Navil Natural's export strategy has had a positive impact on coconut sugar farming in Purbalingga. PT Navil Natural's exports have an impact on achieving positive results from the coconut sugar farming sector in Purbalingga, such as increasing production, income and access to international markets. Classic export theory is seen in the cooperation policy between farmers and export companies, where PT Navil Natural assists in training, technology and international market access, which is an example of the application of comparative principles in trade. This is done with an emphasis on market diversification and increasing international market access in accordance with the principles of modern international trade theory.
