Abstract
Thrift Shop is a shop that sells used products in good condition and suitable for use. Busana90s is a Thrift Shop that sells used clothing with a marketing target of teenagers. Busana90s was founded in 2018 until now. The ongoing business process is, searching for products in traditional markets, taking photos of the products, and uploading the products to social media. Currently Thrift Shop Busana90s marketing is only via social media, namely Instagram. In the transaction process, buyers must send messages via WhatsApp to ask for product information and process product buying and selling transactions. Therefore, to facilitate and expand sales at Thrift Shop Busana90s, this shop needs a web-based sales application or E-Commerce. Based on this, this research aims to build a web-based information system for sales at Thrift Shop Busana90s so that the sales and marketing process can run more effectively and broadly and make it easier for customers to access product information and process transactions without intermediaries. This application design uses the Waterfall model development method. The Waterfall method is used because this method uses a one by one model, so it can monitor each design stage easily and minimize errors that might occur during application design. System design uses Unified Modeling Language (UML). To analyze the needs of this research, we use the PIECES analysis method, analyzing and improving various aspects of a system that is already running. The technology used is the Next JS Framework, Node Js, and Mysql as the database. The results of this research obtained a web-based information system for sales or E-Commerce which is expected to be useful for the sales of Thrift Shop Busana90s.
