Abstract
Information systems have an important role as a tool in human life. However, the use of this technology has not been maximized among business people, as seen in Malacca Coffee. Currently, Malacca Coffee still relies on manual methods such as hand recording or using Microsoft Excel to manage its raw material inventory, which causes the work process to take a long time. Apart from that, this manual method is also vulnerable to various risks such as data loss, redundancy and data corruption. Therefore, the author developed a raw material inventory information system which aims to simplify the management and recording of raw materials and reduce these risks at Malacca Coffee. In developing this system, the author applied the waterfall design method, visual modeling using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and problem analysis using the PIECES method. This system was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The result of this research is a website that is effective in assisting the handling and recording of raw materials in real time and up to date.
