Abstract
In the current era of digitalization, the use of information technology has become crucial in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of boarding house reservations. One widely adopted approach is web-based information systems, which allow potential tenants to book rooms more efficiently and increase the visibility of room availability. Afiqa Boarding House in West Jakarta, which has 20 rooms, faces issues with manual management, often leading to recording errors and delayed responses. This research aims to design a web-based information system for Afiqa Boarding House using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The system is expected to improve management efficiency, minimize errors, and speed up responses to tenant needs. It will allow users to view real-time room availability, manage tenant data, and handle tenant complaints. The benefits of this research include assisting boarding house owners in providing potential tenants with easier access to necessary information. The result of this research is an effective and efficient web application for booking processes, room availability information, and payments.
