The development of cyberspace provides limitless opportunities and generates both risks and challenges to the safety of all countries in the world. The development of information and the use of information communication technology have also seen a significant increase in internet access in Pakistan. However, with the increased opportunities from ICT development come increased threats in cyberspace, such as hacking, serious and structured cybercrime, cyber extremism, and cyberwarfare. Cyber and nuclear security are intertwined in the South Asian region, with the risk of cyberattacks on nuclear infrastructure that could trigger nuclear escalation. This research aims to discuss the cybersecurity policies taken by Pakistan in dealing with cyber threats during the reign of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
